God has blessed our family to live and work this farm for five generations now- over the years we have raised beef cattle, pigs and chickens and grown vegetables, small grains, soy beans and hay.
In an effort to support multiple generations on the same property and limited resources, David and Amy Perryman, the youngest of the Williams girls, had a dream to start an agritourism business. One that would bring agriculture education to the masses, thru farm field trips for school children, agritainment and u-pick opportunities.
The first year we opened to the public “Papa”- Jack Williams, our patriarch, thought we were crazy to expect even 3000 visitors to the farm - he said “Why would anybody pay good money to walk around at field of corn !” but that fall but he was really shocked when we had over 10,000 come over five weekends.
“Nana,” Ginny Williams, our matriarch of the family, loves to share in the operation with her Southern Style baked goods and preserves. Sister Laura Berry the oldest of the Williams girls, and middle sister Pam, are also involved in making the business run smoothl!
Our prayer is that Coon Hollo will cultivate faith, family, and the value of farming. Its our pleasure to have your children play beside ours and grow beautiful memories together!
